WORKSHOP FADE OUT | IL GIORNO DELLA TARANTA: creative reuse of old traditional Abruzzo blankets
Curated by FADE OUT LABEL, Andrea Bonfini
The upcycling workshop “Il giorno della Taranta”, held in the village of Calascio in Abruzzo, aims to create a handmade bag and/or beanie hat starting from an iconic traditional item: the Abruzzo blanket. The manufacturing technique — curated by the Fade Out Label Atelier — will consist of transferring the pattern onto the blanket, cutting and assembling through the use of sewing machines, followed by hand-finishing details.
