In this course, students will learn the technique of applying gold thread by “laying it” onto the silk to be embroidered, where it is secured using a series of couching stitches following a precise design.
The occasional use of light, low padding allows for the creation of beautiful light effects that enhance and enrich the work.
Each student will carry out an embroidery piece by directly applying this technique.
