WORKSHOP Denim Reassembled - Riutilizzo Creativo - Scuola di Calascio

A workshop where tradition meets the energy of contemporary reuse. The iconic and colourful Abruzzo wool blankets meet deconstructed and reassembled vintage jeans through patchwork techniques, giving life to unique accessories and small garments, rich in texture and history.

WORKSHOP “Denim Reassembled”

Creative Reuse of Traditional Abruzzo Blankets + Denim Patchwork

For the second year, “Denim Reassembled” arrives in Calascio (AQ), a workshop dedicated to creative recovery and contemporary textile experimentation.

The initiative proposes a dialogue between tradition and reuse: the iconic and colourful Abruzzo wool blankets are reinterpreted together with vintage jeans, deconstructed and reassembled through the patchwork technique.

A creative process that transforms materials rich in memory into unique, sustainable accessories and small garments with a strong sense of identity.

Participation in the workshop does not require any previous skills.

The aim is to provide a practical and design-oriented experience that enhances craftsmanship, experimentation, and awareness in the use of materials.
