The course in person will be held in Albenga:
Palazzo Oddo, Via Roma 58, 17031 Albenga (SV). Terzo piano.
The course aims to illustrate the history and use of the main dyeing substances in Europe and the Near East on yarns and textiles from the 10th to the 20th century.
The chemical-physical characteristics of dyeing substances will be presented, along with dyeing methods in relation to their areas of origin.
The course will also explore the symbolic and anthropological meanings of fabric coloration.
